Welcome Cup O Coders!
Yah, like all three of us, right? Well, hopefully you’ve gotten the message from the forum or from making an appearance at Cup O Code recently. This will be the new home of the Cup O Code events, if I can convince you all to join me; our first meeting as the new OrlandoPHP group will take place on April 22nd at the Devry Center on Millennium Blvd, right next to Millennium Mall. If you don’t know where that is, I’ll add a map to the blog soon…! Thanks for coming by, and I look forward to seeing you all at BarCamp (April 5th and 6th!) and at the inaugural OrlandoPHP group meet!

I got to Cup O Soul just after you left. Even though I am moving away I am happy to see that someone is going to keep this thing alive.

Hey David,
A rebirth of the Orlando PHP user group? That’s really awesome. Good luck.

Awesome! I like the idea for a centralized Orlando PHP group. We should look into joining http://php.meetup.com/101 with this group.
Anyways, glad to see this coming through. I’ll see you all at BarCampOrlando!

So what is going on with that meetup group? Is this one separate? There doesn’t seem to be much activity over there either.

Anyone going to be at Cup O’ Soul tomorrow?
P.S. We need to get a forum up on here. I’ll do it if nobody else has time.

@Jamal - Agreed. I just posted a message there on the boards; maybe some ppl will see it and come on by… I’ll also be at the pre-BarCamp meeting for that group, hopefully to promote BarCamp and OrlandoPHP.org… Have you heard of it?
@Jason - I’ll be at Cup O Soul tomorrow night, where we can discuss your continuing job prospects and fix more of Gabe’s website.
Re: Forums - We don’ need no stinkin’ _forums_…! We gotz comments!
Seriously, though, working on it… Trying to convince these guys to do Drupal instead of WordPress…
